Very pleasantly surprised. The former Hampton Inn is under new ownership and while the usual wear and tear of a hotel is there, the pride in ownership and desire to offer elevated customer service is shown. The rooms were extremely clean and maintained. The gym, although some equipment was out of order, was very tidy and well organized. The hotel staff was lovely, the breakfast was your typical hotel breakfast but everything was SO clean.

If you want a clean, quiet stay that doesn’t break the bank and offers a plethora of amenities (the warm cookies were delicious), highly recommend a stay at Summit Suites.

    Recently we stayed in hotels double the price that were overcrowded, had poor customer service and didn't have anything close to the breakfast they served here. Honestly, the breakfast was my favorite part bc they had cheesy omelets and smoked sausage similar to kielbasa!There was also waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, juice, donuts, toast, and english muffins. They included every topping you could ever want on everything. At night they put out cookies and hot coffee as well. Front desk was extremely nice and when we booked online again for the discount she was happy to give us our same room and she asked if we needed any cleaning done. The indoor pool was a great bonus and we enjoyed it, first thing this morning.

This hotel really surprised me. We got the room incredibly cheap booking through an app and didn't expect much for the price. Recently we stayed in hotels double the price that were overcrowded, had poor customer service and didn't have anything close to the breakfast they served here. Honestly, the breakfast was my favorite part bc they had cheesy omelets and smoked sausage similar to  kielbasa!There was also waffles, fruit, cereal, oatmeal, juice, donuts, toast, and english muffins.

    We stayed here in 2022 when it was a Hampton Inn, but the hotel dropped out of the Hilton system effective May 1, 2024. I was a bit leary of staying there again for fear that Hilton had kicked them out for not meeting standards, but my hesitancy was unwarranted, as it felt like a normal Hampton Inn.  In fact, the physical condition of the hotel was better than I remembered it to be in 2022, and it was very clean.  The latter may be due to the small number of guests, which gives the staff plenty of time to keep everything looking squeaky clean.  They deserve more guests, so if you need to spend the night in Gillette, give Summit Suites due consideration.
